Multiple Teams · Another Sweep for Boys Basketball


Once again the Redhawk Boys Basketball teams came out with a sweep against their opponents, with victories Thursday and Friday night over the Northwest Mounties.

On Thursday night, the Freshman and JV boys traveled to Northwest.  The Freshman finished with a 39-38 victory, which played out in the last moments of the game.  The Freshman boys are now 6-1 for their season, and 3-1 in the conference.

Next up on Thursday was the Redhawk JV team.  Playing a physical game, the team finished the night with a 47-39 victory on the road.  The JV Boys are now 8-0 for the season and 4-0 in the conference.

Friday, the Redhawk Varsity team defeated the Mounties by 2, with a final score of 62-60.  Brubaker finished the night with a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Torrey added 14 points, and DeVine finished with 11.  The Mounties record falls to 0-5, while the Redhawks improve to 6-2 for the season and 3-1 in the conference.

The Boys take on Charlotte (Tuesday – Home) and Harper Creek (Thursday – Fresh/JV away, Friday – Varsity home).
