Last Saturday(1/16/16), The Marshall High School Men’s Swim Team competed in the Loy Norrix Invitational. The team finished in third place. Team team amassed 43 life time best times/scores. The highest Individual finishers on the day were; O’Shea Swinton (3rd-Diving), William Rayner (4th-Diving), Eron Hill (4th-50 Fr & 4th-100 Fly), Micheal Vezmar (6th-100 Fly), and Landon Morgan (6th-100 Breaststroke).
Relays finishing in the top six were; The Medley Relay team of Brian Huyge, Landon Morgan, Eron Hill, and Michael Vezmar and the 200 Free Relay team of Eron Hill, Cam Foster, Landon Morgan, and Michael Vezmar.
On Tuesday, January 19th, The Redhawk Men’s Swim Team headed to Sturgis for the Sturgis Relays. The team came out victorious on the night beating the hometown Trojans by 4 points. Coming in first on the night were: The Medley Relay team on Brian Huyge, Landon Morgan, Eron Hill, and Micheal Vezmar, The 200 Backstroke team of Chandler Cruz, Brian Huyge, Lincoln Bultemeier, and Cam Foster, The Diving Relay of O’Shea Swinton and William Rayner, and The 200 Free Relay of Eron Hill, Chandler Cruz, Cam Foster, and Micheal Vezmar.
The team will head back to Sturgis on Thursday for their League Dual Meet. The Meet begins at 6:00.
