Girls Junior Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · Women’s Swimming and Diving won 1st league dual meet


The Marshall High School Women’s Swimming and Diving team swam in their first league dual meet competition on Thursday night.  Marshall won by the score of 111-70.  The team swam well from the start.  Marshall won 11 out of 12 events. Tarah Lang qualified for three state events during the meet.  She qualified in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and the 100 butterfly.  The Medley Relay team of Chloe Bedwell, Amaya Walker, Kennedy Karns, and Tarah Lang, start the meet woof with a win. Julia Mathieu was first in the 200 and 500 Free.  Natalie Stiner was first in the 200 Individual Medley and the 500 Free (Qualifying for State in the 500), Tarah Lang won the 50 Free & 100 butterfly. Ally Johnson won diving, the 200 Free Relay team of Walker, Larin Long, Stiner, and Julia Mathieu, Jaylyn Jones in the 100 backstroke, and the 400 Free Relay team of Lang, Stiner, Jones, and Julia Mathieu.  The Team amassed 32-lifetime bests on the night.  The team will swim against Alma on Saturday starting at 11:00, at Harper Creek High School.
