Boys Varsity Baseball · Varsity Baseball takes two at Three Rivers

Redhawk baseball kept rolling as they took a doubleheader from Three Rivers by scores of 8-6 and 10-0.    Kole DeLand picked up the win on the mound in game 1 by scattering 4 hits and striking out 4.    Freshman Trenton Fuller came into close the game.   Calvin Fulmer had 3 hits at the plate, with Jarrett DeLand(2 doubles), Cooper Middleton, and Zack Zacharski(2 RBI’s) each contributing 2 base knocks.
Trenton Fuller continued on the mound in game 2 and picked up the win shutting out the Wildcats as he held them to 3 hits while striking out 2.   Angelo Lerma(double) , Kole DeLand(double) and Wyatt Durham(double, 2 RBI’s) each had 2 hits each for MHS. Bryce Munn and Rickey Nye each scored 2 runs.   The game ended after a TR hit down the right field line that Bryce Munn corralled 252 ft. away from home plate and made a great throw on a line to catcher Cooper Middleton who placed the tag on the base runner attempting to score from 2nd base.
The I-8 champs overall record now stands at 22 wins and 11 losses.
