Boys Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · Bowlers Compete at I-8 Singles Tourney


The Marshall High School bowling team competed at the I8 Conference
Singles Tournament on Saturday, February 9 at JAX 60 Lanes in Jackson
where four varsity players earned All Conference honors. The format
included six games of singles moving lanes after every game. The top 10
varsity boys and top 10 varsity girls earned All Conference status.

In the boys varsity division, Sophomore Robbie Burns III placed
third with games of 195, 200, 179, 235, 183 and 206 for an 1198 total.
Senior Brady Perian finished fourth with games of 194, 210, 232, 157,
172 and 205 for an 1170 total. The field included 35 athletes.

In the girls varsity division, Senior Courtnee Clemons finished
ninth with games of 147, 189, 169, 176, 138 and 201 for a 1020 total.
Sophomore Jasmine Roberts placed 10th with games of 159, 168, 191, 206,
148 and 135 for a 1007 total. The field included 32 athletes.

In the boys junior varsity division, Freshman Austin Hackworth took
third place with games of 137, 124, 195, 154, 202 and 195 for a 1007.
The field included 28 athletes.
