What a great showing at our Regional tournament this weekend. Brady Perian (4th) and Courtnee Clemons (5th) advance to State in singles. Brady averaging 210 and Courtnee 186.
All of our bowlers achieved their goals and bowled above their conference averages. There were 106 bowlers in the boys division. Austin Burkwalt finished 24th and shot 1059 averaging 177 with a high game of 225. Robbie Burns III finished 25th with 1047, averaging 175 and a high game of 221. Jevin Uldriks achieved his goal shooting 929 and averaging 155 with a high game of 182. Mitchell Taylor bowled 884 and averaged 147. His high game was 171. Freshman Austin Hackworth shot 820 and averaged 137 with a high game of 154. The boys finished 15th in team event.
The girl’s team finished a solid fourth place, one place out of advancing and average over 150 as a team. There were 93 bowlers in the girls division. Olivia Hudson nearly broke into the top 10, finishing 13th with a 989. She averaged 165 and had a high game of 192. Jasmine Roberts placed 24th with a 926 and a high game of 214. Gillian Lemon, a freshman, averaged 151 with a high game of 184 and series of 905. Jaimie Sneed had a personal best of 160 shot 785 and averaged 131. Needless to say, we coaches are very proud of our athletes. They put in a lot of hard work and it showed when the pressure was on. Go Redhawk Bowling!
