After sweeping a doubleheader from Quincy at Notre Dame,  the Redhawks came back home to Cooper Field on Wednesday and split the doubleheader vs. Sturgis.  Evan Asselin picked up his 2nd win of the season on the mound against the Trojans as he struck out 7, with Odie Butler striking out 5 while getting the pitching save.  Thomas Andalon had the Redhawks lone hit.

In game 2 Marshall lost their first game of the season.   Rickey Nye and Justin Hankey let the way offensively with 2 hits each.  Trenton Fuller pitched 3 solid innings giving up a run.  And Blake Patterson pitched 1 inning of shut out ball.
The Redhawks are 3-1 heading into spring break.
