Four RBI Day for Sam Fairley Seals the Deal in Redhawks’ Victory Over Hastings
Redhawks defeated Hastings 13-2 on Tuesday thanks in part to Sam Fairley, who drove in four runners. Fairley drove in runs on a single in the first, a triple in the second, and a double in the second.
An early lead helped propel Redhawks to victory. Redhawks scored on a single by Fairley, a single by Tyler Rupp, and a double by N Fulmer in the first inning.
Redhawks scored ten runs in the second inning. Issac Stetler, Fairley, Ian Underwood, Frank Fitzgerald, Gabe Serbantez, and Nick Fitzmaurice all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Fitzmaurice led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Redhawks. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out five.
Redhawks totaled 15 hits. Stetler, Fairley, and Rupp all collected multiple hits for Redhawks. Fairley and Stetler each collected three hits to lead Redhawks. Redhawks didn’t commit a single error in the field. Bryce Jorgenson had the most chances in the field with six.
Redhawks fall to Hastings After Sixth Inning Score
The Redhawks stayed in it until the end, but Hastings pulled away late in a 5-4 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at four with Hastings batting in the top of the sixth when #13 singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Ian Underwood, N Fulmer, Bryce Jorgenson, Frank Fitzgerald, Blain Wilson, Carson DeLong, and Issac Stetler all had one hit to lead Redhawks.
Hastings racked up ten hits in the game. #12 and #22 each collected multiple hits for Hastings. #12 led Hastings with three hits in five at bats. Hastings didn’t commit a single error in the field. #13 had the most chances in the field with seven.
