The MMS Cross Country team travelled to Delton-Kellogg on Thursday. For the first time this season, the competition split the sixth graders and seventh/eighth graders into two separate races. 

On the boys side, the sixth graders finished third overall. Scoring for the Redhawks were Clark Erwin (13:46), Chase Weers (14:28), Cameron Weers (14:45), Ty Winchell (14:46) and Xavier VanDermortel (20:17). Earning medals for a top ten finish were Clark Erwin (3rd place) and Chase Weers (8th place). 

Meanwhile, the sixth grade girls finished seventh overall. Scoring were Maziyah Brewer (17:30), Ava Wagner (18:37), Alaina Hoffman (18:37), Ariana Russell (21:46), and Andrea Green (22:04). 

The seventh and eighth grade boys finished ninth overall. Scoring for the Redhawks were Aidan McPartlin (12:55), Nicholas Ferreira (14:03), Aiden Alegria (14:11), Michah Morehouse (14:34) and Jackson Lillrose (14:56). 

Concurrently, the seventh and eighth grade girls finished eighth overall. Scoring were Camille DeCola (15:00), Lucy Gensch (16:06), Eliza MacQuaig (16:07), Megan Rehfeldt (16:10), and Amelia Monaweck (18:16). 

The Redhawks travel to Parma on Tuesday for their first I-8 jamboree.
