Redhawks News · Swimmers keep dropping times!

The Marshall Girls Varsity Swim Team traveled to Plainwell on Tuesday, October 6th to compete against the reigning league champs.  The Lady Redhawks swam hard and fast and continued their trend of dropping times at every meet.  The Plainwell Trojans may have won the meet but the Marshall girls put together 40 season high best times.

Jaylyn Jones was the high scorer for the Redhawks finishing 2nd in both the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:17.11 and the 100 Butterfly in a 1:14.56.  Other second place finishers were Reagan Winnie in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:17.49 and the relay team of Aubrey Peek, Madi Koski, Winnie and Jones in the 200 Freestyle Relay in a 1:56.96.

The team’s next meet is Thursday, October 8th when they travel to Coldwater.
