Coed Middle School Cross Country · Marshall Middle School Girls Cross Country Competes in 3 meets in 9 days


The Marshall Middle School Girls Cross Country team started their season on September 30th. Right off the bat, they had an I8 Jamboree at Hastings, where they finished third.  Due to MHSAA guidelines, the meet was divided into two races, with the first race scoring for their school. Scoring for Marshall was Leah McPartlin (9), Reese Parker (10), Kaya Oswald (19), Adriana Domingo (24), and Grace Fouty (25).  Rounding out the top 7 was Mariana Bethel (26) and Ella Brydges (27). Megan Rehfeldt finished with the 4th best time for Marshall when running in the reserve race.

On October 7th they faced competition at Parma Western. Scoring for Marshall was Leah McPartlin (5), Reese Parker (11), Kaya Oswald (15), Adriana Domingo (21) and Mariana Bethel (22). Rounding out the top 7 was Ella Brydges (27) and Alyssa Walker (29).

Two days later (October 9th), the girls competed at the Calhoun County Middle School Championship where they finished second.  Medaling for their top 20 performance overall were the top two scorers for Marshall: Leah McPartlin (7), Reese Parker (15) and Kaya Oswald (20). Also scoring for Marshall was Adriana Domingo (21) and Megan Rehfeldt (22). Rounding out the top 7 in the championship race was Mariana Bethel (23) and Andrea Green (27). Courtney Olding finished with the 3rd best time for Marshall when running in the reserve race.
