Marshall Varsity Girls Swim Team had an excellent night of swimming on Thursday, 10/15/20 topping the South Haven Rams in a score of 105 to 73. The Lady Redhawks continued to drop times and out swam their opponents, winning 9 of the 12 events.
Cadynce Rewa had two of the largest drops of the night, winning both the 200 and 500 Freestyle in personal best times, swimming the 200 in a 2:32.14 and the 500 in a 6:46.75. Jaylyn Jones won the 200 IM in a 2:37.43. Larin Long won the 100 Free in a time of 1:04.00. Aurelia Wade took the 100 Backstroke in a season best time of 1:16.91. Kennedy Lynn won diving with a total score of 177.95.
Marshall also dominated in the relays. The team of Long, Reagan Winnie, Miriam Brownell and Jaylyn Jones won the 200 Medley Relay in a time of 2:06.49. The 200 Free Relay was won by Winnie, Madi Koski, Brownell and Jones in a 1:54.15. The team of Jones, Aubrey Peek, Winnie, and Brownell won the 400 Free Relay in a time of 4:19.45.
Marshall’s next swim met is Saturday, 10/17/20 when they travel to Alma.
