Girls Varsity Swimming · Lady Redhawks Swimmers finish dual meet season

     The end of a phenomenal season draws near. The Marshall Girls Varsity Swim Team finished their last dual meet in the same fashion they started the season, focusing on dropping time every time they enter the water.  Although the Harper Creek Beavers came out on top with a score of 113 – 73, the Lady Redhawks posted 33 personal and season best times.
     Jaylyn Jones and Madi Koski took the team’s two wins of the evening.  Jaylyn winning the 200 IM in a time of 2:38.55 and Madi Koski winning diving with a season high score of 154.20.
     Alex Winnie celebrated her birthday by swimming 4 personal best times.  She swam the 100 Butterfly in a 1:28.48, the 100 Breaststroke in a 1:34.99, 50 Free (Relay) in a 33.32, and 50 Breast (Relay) in a 39.94.  Other personal and season best times were posted by:  Reagan Winnie in the 50 Breast (Relay) in a 33.60, 200 IM in a 2:42.55 and 100 Breast in a 1:17.07; Lindsay Malone in the 50 Fly (Relay) in a 42.56 and 50 Free in a 37.19; Alexis Olding in the 50 fly (Relay) in a 43.98; Larin Long in the 200 Free in a 2:19.62,  500 Free in a 6:19.48 and 100 Free (Relay) in a 1:01.91; Reese Rellinger in the 200 IM in a 2:55.09, 100 Backstroke in a 1:14.09 and 100 Free (Relay) in a 1;10.86; Hallie Machalka in the 200 IM in a 3:22.38 and 500 Free in a 8.16.50; Annabelle Machalka in the 50 Free in a 29.70 and 100 Free (Relay) in a 1:08.80; Adreonna Hall in the 50 free in a 40.46 and 100 Free (Relay) in a 1:33.03; Maddie Kue with a personal high score in diving with a 116.55; Mackenzie Heath in the 100 Free in a 1:18.23; Jordan Harrell in the 100 Free in a 1:38.61, 50 Free (relay) in a 36.58 and 100 Free (Relay) in a 1:24.28; Lanae Warnsley in the 100 Free in a 1:42.26; Jaylyn Jones in the 50 Free (Relay) in a 26.96; Cadynce Rewa in the 50 Free (Relay) in a 29.62; Kaelyn Konkle in the 100 Breast in a 1:44.78; and Belle Weishaar in the 100 Free (Relay) in a 1:23.93.
     The Lady Redhawks will next swim at League Meet which is being held in Allegan.  Divers will compete on Friday, November 6th and Swimmers on Saturday, November 7th.
