Boys Varsity Cross Country · Adam Foreman Competes at Cross Country State Meet for Second Year in a Row

Senior, Adam Foreman, once again competed in the Cross Country Division II State meet at MIS on Saturday.  He placed 64th in a field of 250 of the top runners in the State.

“Adam has had an exceptional cross country career at MHS,” said Coach, Mary Casagranda.  “He started off as a rookie his freshman year who struggled to complete workouts.  But, each day he showed up and worked to his potential.  His dedication and determination allowed him to drop fourteen minutes in four seasons from his first race to his personal best time of 16:28 as a senior, making him the fourth fastest runner ever at Marshall High School.  Adam will be remembered for always working hard!  He loves to run!”

Additionally, Adam was also recognized for his academic excellence as he was awarded Academic All-State Honors.  This award is granted based on a runners grade point average and finishing place at the State Finals Meet.  He has earned this honor for his past two seasons!
