Girls Junior Varsity Basketball · Marshall JV Girls beat the Panthers

Marshall JV girls traveled to Pennfield to take on the Panthers. The girls put the pressure on early and did not let up. They came away with a 40-12 victory. “We struggled on Tuesday so it was nice to have a good practice Wednesday and then play well today. It’s always nice when things we focus on in practice are evident during the following games. Our scoring in transition was great tonight, we were much more patient in our half court offense, and our rebounding was much improved. I’m proud of these girls for continuing to show up everyday with great attitudes and working hard to make improvements.”- Coach Sundell

Scoring for the Redhawks was Ashlynn Giannunzio with 9, Abby Griffith and Alexis Stealy with 6 each, Lanie Coddens, Stefanie DeLong , Karlie Gould, and Aly Zulewski with 4 a piece and Cora Churchill with 3.
The team moves to 4-0 on the season. They will take on Lumen on Saturday at 11:30.
