Opening the 2026 year with a home meet against Sturgis on January 6, Marshall secured a 16-point victory with top scoring performances from A.J. Coats and Ryan Robinson (12 points each), D.J. Wilson (10 points), and Caleb Galloway (7 points). The team came out strong following two weeks of training over winter break, proving their dedication and determination to continue achieving personal best times.
Numerous swimmers rose to the challenge, reaching goals and recording personal best times at the meet. Standout efforts included Easton Dale in the 200 IM, Austin Fish in the 200 and 500 freestyle, Caleb Galloway in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Jude Hawley in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Caleb Riggs in the 100 and 200 freestyle, Ryan Robinson in the 100 freestyle, Jack Warner in the 100 breaststroke, and Haidyn Woods in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.
The Marshall boys didn’t stop at personal bests, as two relay teams also delivered top finishes. The 200 freestyle relay team of Easton Dale, Caleb Riggs, D.J. Wilson, and Austin Fish captured first place, while the 200 IM relay team of A.J. Coats, Easton Dale, Ryan Robinson, and Haidyn Woods earned a strong second-place finish.
The boys are gearing up for an intense meet this Saturday at Haslett High School to bring home medals, achieve personal best times, and move closer to state qualifying times. Let’s go, Redhawks!
