Softball Fans:

Marshall High School is thrilled to be hosting this years MHSAA District tournament on Saturday May 30.  I went over the MHSAA archives and records are inconclusive prior to 2009, but I have no evidence of us hosting Districts since 2009.  This is a great opportunity for us to put on the best event possible and give our Girls a chance to win Districts on their home field!

Having said that, as I have been putting together information for this date, I am seeing some logistical challenges to being able to host our event safely and securely.  Given that these are all high-level softball teams and arguably the most competitive district in the state, we are planning on big crowds and a great atmosphere for these games.  Because of this, there will be some changes compared to what we are used to in the regular season.

• We will be asking all spectators to park in the student parking lot
  • Coaches and student-athletes may park by the field as normal
  • Mobility impaired individuals can be dropped close to the field, with parking back in the student lot after dropping
• MHSAA requires ticket admission for all events.  Cost is $7 and can be purchased here:  https://gofan.co/event/6594623?schoolId=MI10239
  • Wi-Fi and Cellular reception is spotty on site.  Please purchase tickets ahead of time and have them pulled up on your phone before approaching ticket gate
  • Cash sales are not accepted.  All tickets must be purchased on GoFan
• Schedule of Games
  • 10AM: Coldwater vs. Vicksburg
  • Noon: Marshall vs. Harper Creek
  • 2PM or 30 minutes after Noon game: Winners of first 2 games
