Marshall JV Boys traveled to Harper Creek last night and lost 45-63. Coach was worried about an emotional let down game after the amazing battle they just went through two days ago. And that was exactly what happened last night. Harper came out with great energy and Marshall was able to match it for the first half. But then came the second half, where not one three point shot fell, and only six shots in total went in. Was just one of those halves that you hope never happens, and when it does, the end results usually don’t go in your favor. Marshall had to overcome some early adversity, but just couldn’t sustain the focus and effort through the second half.
Josh Pugh led the scoring with 15 points and added 8 rebounds, Isaac Stetler had 9, Jayson Janofski added 6 points. Ty’Rell Williams and Carson Delong each scored 5 points, with Dylan Riddle and Alex Costa scoring 2. Carter Wheeler added 1 point and 5 rebounds.
Record falls to 10-2 and 7-1 in the conference
