The Marshall Redhawk Cross Country Team finished their season on Saturday running at the State Meet held at Michigan International Speedway. On a cold and muddy course with wind, rain, and even a few snowflakes, the boys finished 23rd in the State.
Finishing a great junior season was Marshall;’s lead runner Adam Foreman who was able to finish in the top 100 of the field, placing 95th. Adam is looking forward to a great senior season and has set some lofty goals for himself when he returns to the State Meet next season.
Being seniors, the remainder of the team completed their final race of their careers Saturday. “Running at the State Meet has been a goal of theirs for four years. To end their high school careers knowing that they successfully attained their team goal is a wonderful accomplishment,” said Coach Casagranda.. ” I am very proud of each of these young men. They have been a great group of young men to work with and will be greatly missed next season.”
