The Marshall Boys Cross Country Team placed second at the Eaton Rapids Invite once again this year on Tuesday evening. Scoring at this meet is unique in that eight runners, two from each grade, determine the score, rather than the typical top five runners.
Scoring for the freshmen were Isaac Culp who placed 14th in the freshman race and Adam Dunn who placed 19th in a personal best time of 22:07.
Adam Foreman was once again the leading sophomore for Marshall, placing 5th in his grade and earning a medal. Avery Duncan, 28th, was Marshall’s other scoring sophomore.
In the junior race, scorers were Conor McPartlin who placed 2nd and classmate, Emmett Rosenzweig, 4th. Both earned medals along with Spencer Zick, 6th, in their race.
Finally, scoring for the seniors were Brett Carlisle, 3rd place and George McClure, 6th. These two also brought home medals.
