The Marshall Boys Soccer team hosted Jackson Lumen Christi this evening and recorded a 7-3 victory. Despite a sloppy 1st of play, Marshall took a 4-1 lead into halftime on goals from Josh Pugh (assisted by Parker Gilbertson & Carson Tucker), Josh Pugh (assist to Brady Tatrow), Carson Tucker (assist to Josh Pugh), and, completing a 1st half hat trick, Josh Pugh (assist to Jayson Janofski).

In the 2nd half, Marshall played a much more complete game and, despite giving up two late goals, dominated play and created many great scoring chances. Second half goals were scored by Brady Tatrow (assisted by Jayson Janofski), Jayson Janofski (assisted by Ashton Kramer), and Evan Markos (assisted by Caleb Graeber).

With the win, Marshall wins their 5th game in the row and moves to 5-1-0 on the season and 4-0-0 in I-8 play. On Thursday, they travel to Hastings for another I-8 Conference match-up that will have an impact on the league championship. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30pm at Hastings High School.
