Marshall Varsity Boys battled a tough Western team at home on Friday. Western took off in the third quarter, with the Redhawks battling back in the fourth, coming up just short for a final score of 64-63.

Jeremy Luciani led all scorers with 20 points. Marshall had three other players in double figures with Jack Crull at 11points, Jack Luciani with 10, and Cody Shellenberger with 10. Also scoring were Dan Delmotte with 8 and Cody Beattie and Larenz Hill each with 2.

Marshall is now 5-4 for the season, 3-2 in conference play. The team is back on the road for their next conference game on Tuesday against Jackson Northwest.
