The Marshall JV boys soccer team won against Jackson Northwest tonight 2-1. After numerous first half chances and dominating possession they were unable to score. The game was scoreless until Jackson Northwest broke through and went up 1-0. The RedHawks continued to battle and found the equalizer with 6 minutes left when Kaleb Vincent scored (assist Noah Kue). The last 3 minutes was back and forth until Northwest generated a corner kick. Marshall was able clear and break out with 10 seconds. Kaleb Vincent carries the ball 70 yards for a shot on goal, that was saved and Conner Swan buried the rebound with one second left. Exciting victory.
Marshall is back on the field Saturday traveling to Ortonville-Brandon. Kick off is 10am.
