Three Wrestlers Are Headed to Regionals

The Marshall wrestling team was able to advance three wrestlers to next weekends individual regionals at Vicksburg by and lacing 4th or better. Owen Miller(I-8 Champ) was runner up to Tyler Hill from Stevensville Lakeshore losing 5-2 in the championship. Justin Hankey lost in the championship to Lakeshore’s Cody Carlisle 19-4. Marshall 2nd Place at Comstock Invite

The Marshall Wrestling team traveled to Comstock and placed 2nd in the 10 team tournament. They won their pool by defeating Lakeview 42-36, Parchment 58-27, Comstock 32-31, and Napoleon 53-27. Marshall Competes at Jackson Invite

Marshall went 3-2 on the day at the JAWS tournament in Jackson. They lost the opener to Hartland 9-70, then defeated Lumen Christi (39-38), Michigan Center (42-33), and Leslie (45-30). The MHS Wrestling team held its awards banquet Sunday March 26th. The team finished with an 18-14 record, the first time being over .500 in quite a few years. It also included a tournament championship at Comstock and runner up at the Joe Wheeler Invitational. The team also earned academic all state honors. Three wrestlers
