Baseball and Softball Schedule Change

The JV and Varsity Baseball and Softball games scheduled with Lakeview for Tuesday April 10th have moved to Wednesday April 11th, due to weather and field conditions.

MHS Baseball Tryouts start Monday,  3/12/18 in the gym from 5:45 pm to 7:45 pm. Wear a baseball hat and baseball pants or sweat pants!  Rise to the occasion Redhawks!

Spring Sports Information High School and Middle School

All student athletes must have a current physical on file dated after April 15th, 2017 to participate/try-out in any spring sport at either the high school or middle school. Congrats to Logan Austin…All-State in Baseball

Logan Austin earned first team all-state honors in Division 2. Austin hit .488 on the season and led Marshall in runs scored with 54 and RBIs with 39.  A three-year starter, Logan also earned all-conference honors as the Redhawks won the Interstate 8 Conference.

The I-8 Champs lost a heartbreaker in the MHSAA Pre-District game vs. Harper Creek 2-1 in 9 innings last week.   The Beavers scored a run the first inning and were held scoreless for the next 7 innings, but the Redhawks could only muster 1 run to tie the game.         Mason

MHS Varsity Baseball at Charlotte 5/24/17

Marshall swept a doubleheader on Wednesday taking two games by the same score of 17-1 over Charlotte. In Game 1 Mason Griffith had 3 hits(double) and scored 3 runs.  Logan Austin had 3 hits(double) and 4 RBI’s, Matt Lubis had 2 hits (double) with 3 RBI’s, and Kole Deland had 2 hits(double).   Noah Fulmer pitched

Marshall vs. Three Rivers

Marshall hosted Three Rivers in a non-conference double header. In a pitchers duel Marshall came out on top with a score 1-0. Mason Griffith pitched 7 innings holding Three Rivers to 4 hits while striking out 8 to earn the shut-out.    Patrick Draper had a single and also scored the Redhawks only run. Marshall

Boys Go 1-1 at Adrian Tourney

Marshall played in the Adrian Maples Annual Invitational Saturday losing game 1 to host Adrian 15-10.   Logan Austin, Jarrett Deland(double), Kole Deland, and Bryce Munn all had two hits. In game 2 Marshall bounced back by defeating Monroe 3-2.   Noah Fulmer picked up the win on the mound pitching 5 innings giving up 2 runs
