Marshall RedHawks Varsity Softball loses to Olivet in Districts 

In a close contest on Saturday the girls just couldn’t catch up to Olivet.  Senior Sierra Rupp started on the mound for Marshall going 7 strong innings, giving up 4 hits, 3 Earned Runs, 6 walks and 7 strikeouts.  Sierra was able to shut down most threats but in the 5th inning with Olivet up

Baseball and Softball Districts…Good Luck Redhawks

Both the Varsity Baseball and Varsity Softball teams travel to Coldwater on Saturday June 1st to compete in the MHSAA District Tournament. Baseball:  Marshall vs. Coldwater 10:00 am Softball:  Marshall vs. Olivet 10:00 am Admission will be $6.00 per person. Good Luck Redhawks!

Marshall Varsity softball splits with Mason

In a doubleheader on Tuesday at Mason, the Varsity Softball team split a doubleheader. GAME 1: The girls came out strong getting runs in each of the first 4 innings.  In the bottom of the 6th, Mason rallied to score 10 runs and take the lead for good.  Kaylee Gwin pitched 6 innings giving up

Marshall Varsity Softball sweeps Pennfield!!!

GAME 1: On Thursday, Marshall outlasted Pennfield in 8 innings.  With Marshall up 9-2 in the 6th, Pennfield was able to rally and tie the game.  No score in the 7th inning meant we were headed to the International tiebreaker.  Marshall was able to put up 4 runs in the top of the 8th  inning and

5/14/19 Game 1: Marshall came out swinging the bats really well.  5 runs in the 2nd inning and 6 in the 3rd were more than enough to seal the game.  Kaylee Gwin pitched all 5 innings giving up 2 runs, walking 5, striking out 7 and only giving up 3 hits.  Brenna Hayes, Gwin and Izzy

Marshall Varsity Softball Sweeps Doubleheader against BCC.

4/25/19 Game one:  Amanda DeWitt took the mound and went all 3 innings, giving up 3 hits while striking out 3.  Izzy Franks and Maddie Spottek each had 2 hits and 3 RBIs in the 15-0 win.  Game 2: Brenna Hayes pitched 3 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 3.

Tuesday, 4/16/19 On Tuesday, the Lady RedHawks traveled to Coldwater and came away with two big wins. In game one, Kaylee Gwin pitched 7 innings giving up 4 earned runs, walking 5 and striking out 5.  At the plate Marshall’s Brenna Hayes was 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs.  Izzy Franks and Sierra Rupp each
