Marshall High School

The Marshall High School Cross Country team traveled to Bath Michigan for the Bret Clements Bath Invitational on Saturday, September 12. Austin Ruppel and Caylor Elsesser brought home medals for the mens team by finishing 16th and 20th, respectively. They were followed by Aiden Vance (49th), Owen Hanson (52nd), and Maxwell Romeri (60th) to finish the scoring for the varsity team. Alaina Dillon finished 12th in the womens race bringing home the lone medal for the Lady Redhawks. Nadia Smyczek just missed out on a medal by finishing 37th in her cross country debut. Hailey McKinlay (66th) and Aaliyah Johnson (77th) also scored for the Redhawks. The team competes on Tuesday at the first I-8 division meet of they season at Harper Creek. Come cheer on the Redhawk runners as races start at 5:15 pm.
