Marshall Varsity Volleyball picked up its second conference win of the season with a straight-set victory over Pennfield, defeating the Panthers 25-23, 25-22 and 25-14. The Redhawks were tested in the opening two sets but found ways to finish when it mattered before taking control in the third. Brynn Johnson led the Marshall offense with 22 kills while adding 19 digs and three aces. Peyton Tarmnel contributed four kills and three blocks, while Claire Kelly recorded 19 digs and Emma Ladd added eight. Marshall continued to split its setting duties between Addie Carden and Anna Laditka. Carden finished with 17 assists and two aces, while Laditka added 14 assists and 14 digs. The night also featured a major career milestone for Johnson, who recorded her 1,000th career kill. Still early in her high school career, Johnson has established herself as a major offensive presence for the Redhawks while continuing to take on a leadership role for the team.
