Marshall High School

The Marshall High School Cross Country team traveled to Parchment on Wednesday for the Parchment Invitational. The Women finished second as a team while the Men were fourth. Alaina Dillon finished 2nd for the Redhawks followed by Hailey McKinlay (7th and a personal best “PB”), Ellery Fazekas (9th), Nadia Smyczek (11th and a PB), Gianna DeCola (20th), and Aaliyah Johnson 48th). The men were led by Austin Ruppel (6th and a season best), Caylor Elsesser (17th), Aiden Vance (29th), Maxwell Romeri (32nd and a PB), Owen Hanson (42nd), Luke Frye (45th and a PB), Remy Hall (47th and a PB), and Jacob Spaulding (48th and a PB). This was a great showing as pretty much the entire team has been battling illness all week. Be sure to come cheer on the runners as they head to Parma on Tuesday for an I-8 match up and then to the Stockbridge Invitational on Saturday morning.
