The Marshall Cross Country team traveled to Hudson Mills Metro Park in Dexter on Saturday for the 42nd Father Gabriel Richard XC Invitational. It was a frosty 32 degrees when the men lined up at the starting line for the first of many races of the day. Abraham McHugh ran a season best 16:08 to bring home the 4th place medal while Caylor Elsesser, Maxwell Romeri, Jacob Spaulding, Luke Frye, and Blake Mannes all ran personal best times. The women were up next where Alaina Dillon earned the 10th place medal with a season best 19:56 while teammates Hailey McKinlay, Nadia Smyczek, and Gianna DeCola ran personal best times and Aaliyah Johnson a season best. It is exciting to see the runners continuing to improve as they prepare for the I-8 league championship at Cornwell's Turkey Farm on Thursday, October 22nd. The men run at 5:15 with the women immediately following at 5:45. Come cheer on the team and support our senior runners on senior night.
