Your Marshall RedHawk Ladies golf team got off to a great start with a really strong third place finish in the 1^st I8 Jamboree of the season.  This is a late start for league play after the scheduled first event was postponed because of weather.

Marshall was led by Freshman Anna Thompson who finished fifth overall in the Jamboree with a nine hole total of 50. She was followed by Senior Zadie Zuehlke 1 stroke behind.  Rounding out our scoring in this Jamboree were Junior Aubrey Tarkiewicz and Freshman Anna Vincent.  Also competing but not scoring for Marshall were Junior Aubrey Dysinger and Sophomore Ariana Torrez.  This is a really exciting start and we are looking for great things the rest of the season.

Marshall has a busy week coming up, hosting the RedHawk Invitational Friday at Marshall Country Club and then traveling to Saline on Saturday to compete in an event hosted by Clinton High School, then another I8 jamboree next Tuesday hosted by Pennfield at Marywood Golf Club in Battle Creek.

Come on out and cheer our RedHawk ladies on at home while they compete for a championship among 15 teams.
