The Marshall RedHawk Invitational was held on Friday September 6 @ Marshall Country Club.

The RedHawk Invitational is an iconic event in Michigan High School Ladies Golf. One of the longest running events in MHSAA history proved once again to be a challenging but fruitful event.

16 teams from 13 schools competed for team and individual honors, with over 70 young ladies competing for top honors.

The results at the end of the day yielded a repeat champion as the ladies from St Joe won team honors for the second year in a row. In addition the champions had two separate Eagles from 2 different golfers on their 1st team. Not to be out done Junior Charlotte Confer from their second team carded an Ace, on the second to last hole of her round, over the water on hole #11. Congrats to the St Joe ladies!

Team Medalist as mentioned was St Joe. Runner up was 1st time competitor in this event, Grand Rapids Christian. Gull Lake and Harper Creek were third and fourth respectively.

Individual Medalist honors went to Lillian O’Grady from GR Christian who carded a one under par 71, with runner up going to Amiyah Gibson from Battle Creek Lakeview with a 73, third place went to Marley Walters from St Joe with a 76, 4th place went to last years runner up Charlotte Boudeman from Gull Lake battling the course to an 81, rounding out the top five was Haley Willi from Harper Creek with an 84.

The RedHawks also entered 2 teams with all 8 ladies playing well.

Marshall Red Team was led by Senior Zadie Zuehlke with a personal best of 103, followed by Junior Aubrey Tarkiewicz 105, Freshman Anna Thompson 108, and Junior Aubrey Dysinger with a 115.

Marshall Black Team was led by Freshman Anna Vincent(119), followed by Freshman Sophie Fondren(136), Sophomore Ariana Torrez(146), and in her first ever varsity appearance Freshman Ada Winchell(153)

Marshall High School and all of the teams that competed complimented Marshall Country Club on the great condition of the course and thanked them for being great hosts and supporters of high school ladies golf.
