The Redhawk Cross Country Teams started their league season in style, with the boys dominating and the girls just missing matching the win. The boys took five of the first 11 places to easily defeat runner up Parma. Jack Bidwell easily won the race, with Abe McHugh (3rd) and Reece Davis (4th) close behind. Clark Erwin and Ty Winchell finished 10th and 11th to close out the Redhawk scoring.
The Ladyhawks entered the meet seeded third, predicted to finish 20 points behind Parma and 10 behind Harper Creel. The girls ran an outstanding race to easily defeat HC and losing to Parma by only three points. Leah McPartlin and Alaina Dillon once again led the team, finishing second and fourth. Savannah Richmond also made the top ten, finishing an excellent 8th place. Adi Domingo and Maura Young finished the scoring in 15th and 17th.
"I was extremely pleased with how we competed. The guys followed our race plan perfectly, and the girls almost pulled off a huge upset. Very impressive performances by both teams".
