Redhawks Sweep Calhoun County Championships

The Redhawk and Ladyhawk capped off a great week of racing with a sweep of the Calhoun County Championship. The boys, who won the second league meet on Tuesday, won the boy's race with five boys in the top ten. Reece Davis and Abe McHugh led the Redhawks with 2nd and third place finishes, while Jack Bidwell (4th) paced the team's fourth and fifth runners before kicking it in. Ty Winchell was 8th and Cam Weers 10th, with Chase Weers also medaling in 17th.
Not to be out done, the girl's also placed five in the top ten, and also placed five in the second ten to capture ten of the available 20 medals. Leah McPartlin was the runner up in the meet, followed by Alaina Dillon in 5th, Savannah Richmond in 6th, Adi Domingo (9th), Alaina Hoffman (10th), Maura Young (11th), Jenna Lumsden (12th, Gianna DeCola (15th), Georgie Schmidt (17th) and Andrea Green (20th).Congratulations to these hard working athletes on the double win!
