Congratulations to the MHS Freshman Volleyball Team as they garner some new hardware from their trip to Portage Northern Saturday for a 12-team competition.
Starting off the competition slow, the ladies fell with a loss and a 22-pt differential to Byron Center. Using this lesson, the girls quickly showed agility and shifted their plan.
Leading the day was Emily Farkas with 42 attacks and 23 kills. Serving up aces for the day was both Alayna Hayes and Nyla Whittaker. The girls continue to blend their team building drills and assets with game strategy opportunities.
