Addison Tucker, a senior at Marshall High School, has recently committed to play
collegiate volleyball at Kellogg Community College.
Addie, a two-year Varsity player, has been a standout athlete throughout high school.
Starting off her freshman year as the JV team’s setter, she progressed to Varsity her
Junior year playing in a defensive specialist position and back-up setter. Then took the
reins, leading the team and running the offense, this year. Known for her
aggressiveness, mental toughness, and strong court sense, Addie has consistently
impressed coaches, teammates, and fans alike. “I’m very excited having committed to
KCC and can’t wait to be a part of the team in the fall,” said Addie.
MHS head coach Bre Johnson said, “Addie has been a dedicated and reliable player
since joining our program, and an asset to our Varsity team. This past season, I trusted
her to not only run our offense, but she’s also proven to be a valuable resource at the
service line.” Addie lead the 2024 team in assists with a total of 740 for the season.
KCC is equally excited to welcome Addie to their Volleyball program. Judy Mason, head
coach, is eager stating “I’m excited to have Addie join our team. Her experience and
love for the game will be a great addition to the Bruins!”
Addie has been a dedicated player for the past six years, with her first season starting in
7 th grade, playing at Marshall Middle School. Since then, she has played both school
and club ball, nearly all year round. Addie has played for Team Pineapple (Angola, IN),
Dead Frog Volleyball Club (Portage, MI) and USA Michigan (Kalamazoo, MI).
