Questions to answer:
- What is the overall excitement level/energy of the team heading into the season and how have practices been early on? We have just started and the boys are working hard to get into some sort of swimming shape. We have a lot of new swimmers and divers which is exciting, but will take a lot of work and time to build depth and make us competitive.
- Which swimmers are you looking for to step up and lead the way? We will need our returners to fill many roles this season as our “newbies” learn the sport, but I have high expectations for all of our new kids to be big contributors by the end of the season.
3. What events will be some of the team’s biggest strengths, and also some you think your team can most improve as the season goes? Our biggest strength will be the returners that we have. We can have at least one strong returner in every event and once we build our depth and newbies abilities we will be able to fill out our line-up very well. Developing depth and growing our knowledge of swimming and diving will be one of our biggest challenges. A lot of our new athletes are athletic, but have never swum before.
