On Wednesday, December 11, Men’s Varsity Swimmers participated in the SCC relay meet at Allegan HS bringing home 2nd place by earning 262 points, just behind Plainwell HS.  

Our top highlight goes to Ryan Robinson who got his state cut for the 100 butterfly leading off the 300 Butterfly relay. Congratulations, Ryan!

Three events earned 1st place. The 400 yard Medley is the first event to gain 1st place for MHS with a team of C. Pratt, L. Dale, R. Robinson, and B. Snyder with a time of 4:18.02.  The next event was the 200 yard relay exhibition with swimmers J. Rozell, J. Tanner, A. Fish, and J. Kue.  The last event earning 1st place was the 3x100 Butterfly relay with R. Robinson, A. Coats, and C. Pratt with a time of 3:03.87.  

Additional highlights included relays who dropped time in their event.  This included the 800 yard freestyle relay dropping 11.85 seconds for C. Thurber, L. Scott, J. Rozell, and B. Snyder.  We also had a new team participate in the 200 yard Freestyle exhibition, dropping 9.57 seconds for J. Kue, A. Fish, C. Riggs, J. Warner.  

Our divers brought home 3rd place behind Plainwell (1st) and Hastings (2nd). Great dives!
