MHS Announces new Varsity Softball Coach..

Marshall High School is excited to welcome Trevor Kelly as the new Varsity Softball Coach.
I am beyond excited to take over as Head Coach for the Varsity Softball Program at Marshall! I've coached high-level softball for the past 8 years and was an assistant coach on last season's district championship team that went 29-7. Most of the current varsity roster has played for me since 8u and we have formed special relationships. Prior to softball, I coached baseball at Marshall from 2006-2015. During that time, Marshall went to the state semi-finals in back to back years (2006-2007) and had many players go on to play in college.
My staff will consist of Scott Carden and Sean Kelly. Scott brings a ton of coaching experience both at the travel softball level and also as the former Head Baseball Coach at Albion College for 20+ years. Sean has experience coaching travel softball and is also a top pitcher in men's fastpitch softball.
We look forward to competing at a very high level this year and will play a challenging non-conference schedule to prepare us for the post season. We also plan to raise awareness about the softball program at Marshall by focusing on a youth feeder program. Looking forward to seeing a lot of fans at the ballpark this spring, cheering on this incredibly talented group of athletes!
