The championship came down to the very last event with scores fluctuating between teams at the Marshall Invite on 12/14/2024.  R. Robinson, A. Coats, B. Snyder, and C. Pratt taking 1st place in 400 yard freestyle relay to end the meet solidified the final points to bring home the championship.  

The close competition wouldn’t have been possible without so many swimmers gaining huge points throughout the meet.  Our top points go to: Carter Pratt (32 pts), Ryan Robinson (26 pts), Brayden Snyder (26 pts), A.J. Coats (21 pts), and Conner Thurber (20 pts). 

Our top highlights go to quite a few swimmers who had some huge PRs today.  The following swimmers improved times in all of their events:  Austin Fish, Abelino Lerma, Jackson Rozell, Liam Scott, Jaden Spence, Asa Strand, and Jack Warner. Pierson Dubois dropped time on every event including the 500 yd Freestyle where he improved by almost 55 seconds! Conner Fish dropped almost 15 seconds in his 50 Freestyle.   

Diver Caylor Elsesser earned 4th place and Ajay Lamuth followed in 6th place.  

Participating teams included Marshall, Grand Ledge, Portage Northern, Hastings, and Alma.
