The Redhawks hosted Mattawan on Friday and had their foot on the gas from the start. Scoring 26 points in the first quarter, the girls dominated the entire game. “Our press proved to be a challenge for Mattawan tonight and really fueled a lot of transition baskets for us. We had great contributions from every girl tonight and it was great to get everyone some good minutes. We now get into the tough part of our schedule with some quality conference matchups, starting with Parma next Friday. These girls were great tonight and we’re excited about a win to start off the new year.”
