The Freshmen girls took on the Western Panthers Thursday at Parma. After a three week layoff, the girls started the game sluggish, being down 4-3 at the end of the first quarter. They picked up the pace, and led at the half 22-16. They would go on to win the contest 28-20. Leading the scorers was Emma Ladd with 7pts, Nyla Whittaker 6pts, Alaina Dillon 6pts, Anna Casey 4pts, Lauren Robinson 2pts, Izzy Miller 2pts, Ana Young 1pts. Leading in rebounds was Ada Winchell with 5.
