The Marshall Freshman Boys Basketball team took on Harper Creek on Thursday 1/23/25 at home. The Redhawks knew they were in for a tough matchup against their heated rivals, but they weren’t backing down. The game started out very evenly matched with Marshall able to take a 1 point lead after the first quarter (13-12). Some strong defense in the 2nd quarter allowed the young Redhawks to take a 5 point lead into the half, and start to pull away 27-22. The 2nd half saw an outstanding defensive and offensive push by the Redhawks as they were able to pull away quickly and put the game out of reach with a final score of 51-29.
