Friday the Boys Varsity Bowling team hosted Pennfield at Marshall Lanes and won 17-13. In
the first series Marshall took every singles match and ended with a final series of 847-747.
Jackson Gore (166) Ridge Novak (124), Ayden George (205), Leeland Murphy (201) and Xavier
VanDeMoortel (151) grabbed the individual points. For the second series the Redhawks took
the lead again 812-717. Ayden George (226) and Leeland Murphy (153) won their individual
matches. Heading into the Baker games Marshall had already secured the win at 17-3. The
Redhawks lost both Baker games bringing the final score to 17-13. On Monday the Boys
Varsity team turned around and traveled to M-66 for a second conference meet against
Pennfield this season. Marhsall started out a little slow in the first series with a score of 877-929.
Ayden George (167), Ridge Novak (187) and Xavier VanDeMoortel (194) were able to take their
matches securing 3 points for the team. The Varsity boys caught fire after that and the
Redhawks rolled this year’s high series of 1024-833. Ayden George (248), Ridge Novak (196),
Leeland Murphy (211) and Xavier VanDeMoortel (198) took care of business and clinched each
of their match points. Marshall headed into the Bakers needing to win one for the overall win.
They lost the first 170-197 and then turned around and won the second Baker 167-154 and
walked away with the win. This puts the Varsity Boys Bowling team 4-1 in the conference. Go
