MHS Divers Qualify for Regionals
MHS Divers Qualify for Regionals
Updated on 02/03/2025

The Tri-Meet at Kalamazoo Central High School, including Battle Creek Central, was an exciting and successful event. Our MHS divers continue to raise the bar, challenging neighboring schools and pushing for a spot on the podium. On January 31, two of our divers qualified for Regionals—congratulations to Ronnie Gill, who earned 164 points (1st place), and Caylor Elsesser, who scored 157.4 points (2nd place). Best of luck at Regionals!

In addition to the divers' accomplishments, our MHS swimmers had an outstanding night, racking up crucial points for the team. Carter Pratt and Ryan Robinson dominated, taking 1st place in all four events they competed in. Brayden Snyder and Ledger Dale each earned 1st place in three events. A.J. Coats secured 1st place in two events, and Landon Patton, Ronnie Gill, and Liam Scott each took 1st place in one event each.

Several MHS swimmers also set new personal bests this season. Connor Fish and Landon Patton both improved their times in the 50 Freestyle, Ira Corralez set a new best in the 100 Freestyle, Pierson DuBois improved his time in the 500 Freestyle, and Easton Dale and Carter Pratt both made personal bests in the 200 IM.

Don’t miss our next home meet on Senior Night, February 4, 2025. Come cheer on our divers as they prepare for Regionals and watch our swimmers push to meet State cut times.
