MMS 7A Girls traveled to Coldwater on Monday night to take on the Cardinals for the first time this season. Marshall came out quickly with pressure in the first quarter, causing many Coldwater turnovers, but also many first quarter fouls for Marshall. Marshall led 8-2 after the first quarter. Marshall regrouped at break and came out with more focus defensively and more aggression on offense in the second quarter, building their lead to 25-4 at halftime. Marshall coasted in the second half and came away with another win, 36-11. Leading the way scoring for Marshall were Maryah Noonan with 13 points, Olivia Dillon with 5 points, Maleah Lapp, Annisette Palma, and Vanna Willavize all with 4 points, and Rebecca Robinson, Emma Hoffman, and Mary Fedders with 2 points each. Marshall travels to Pennfield on Wednesday for another I8 battle.
