Marshall’s track athletes traveled to Concord to take on ten other teams at the
Chuck King Invitational. The boys posted their second consecutive invitational
win, scoring 139 points, while the girls took third with 86 points.
The boys were led by Jack Bidwell, who won the 800, 1600 and anchored the
winning 3200 relay, and Zach Hudson who won both hurdles races and anchored
the 400 relay. Scoring in three events were Abe McHugh and Akin Olapade.
The girls were led by Savannah Richmond, who won the 3200, anchored the
winning 3200 relay, and took second in the 1600. Maura Young placed in four
events, while Emily Dingee placed in three events including a win in the long
jump. Georgianna Schmidt also placed in three events.
